    What is Hydrogen Energy?

    The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has been working to promote the use of hydrogen energy to realize “Carbon Half” by 2030*, a decarbonized society by 2050 beyond that and the stable energy supply.

    We have formulated the “Tokyo Hydrogen Vision,” which illustrates the vision for 2050 and the direction of hydrogen initiatives toward 2030.
    * Reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Tokyo by 50% by 2030 (compared to 2000)
